Description
The 28th Contracting Squadron seeks a Contractor to provide all necessary supervision, labor, transportation, equipment, and materials to supply and install one (1) new vehicle and cargo x-ray inspection system capable of providing accurate and reliable detection of potentially dangerous materials or illegal items at the Commercial/Bismarck Gate on Ellsworth Air Force Base (EAFB), South Dakota. It is the intention to lease this equipment for a period of 5 years.
The Contractor will be responsible to perform site preparation and/or civil works to install the new x-ray inspection system, outfit the system with cold resistant covering, train government personnel to operate the system, and perform preventative and as-needed maintenance over the course of the lease to ensure proper system operation and functionality in accordance with the terms of the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Vendors must be SAM registered in order to be considered responsive, please note any small business statuses the business may posses. The attached PWS and Salient Characteristics documents are still in draft status and are subject to future changes.
