Description : 1. The Rural Agro-Enterprise Partnership for Development and Growth (RAPID Growth) Project is an initiative that aims to achieve inclusive and sustainable economic development for rural farming communities in the country. It is spearheaded by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). The project addresses the policy commitments of the Philippine Government aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of eliminating poverty and reducing inequality, which are likewise aligned with the priorities of the funding partner, IFAD. The value chains in focus are coffee, cacao, coconut, and processed fruits and nuts in Regions VIII, Ix, x, xI, xII, Caraga Administrative Region, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
