Expression of Interest are invited for Engineering and E&S Consultant for road project in Colombia - Road Section #2
Description: The International Finance Corporation (“IFC”), a member of the World Bank, has been approached by the Government of Cundinamarca (“GoC”) through the Instituto de Infraestructura y Concesiones de Cundinamarca (“ICCU”) and the Fondo de Desarrollo de proyectos de Cundinamarca (“FONDECUN”) (jointly the “Client”), to act as transaction lead advisors to improve the level of service on Chía - Girardot Corridor by structuring and implementing one brownfield road project under a Public-Private Partnership (“PPP”) arrangement (the “Project”).Given the above, IFC will draw upon the services of an engineering and E&S consulting firm (the Engineering Consultant or the Consultant or the Contractor) with extensive local and global experience in roads PPPs for the Mondoñedo - Girardot road section.
Qualification Criteria for members of the Engineering Consultant team:
-Experience in working with government clients and their advisors in conjunction with the design
of PPP transactions in the roads sector;
-Experience in preparing technical / engineering, E&S studies, and feasibility studies on roads projects;
-Experience in working in the roads sector in Latin America and a plus if worked in 4G/5G road
programs in Colombia;
-Team composition: 10 years of experience of E&S team members, engineers;
-Spanish language skills by key staff.
