Theobjective of this assignment is to develop an energy resilience investment plan basedon technical, financial, institutional, and policy recommendations on enhancingthe climate resilience of power infrastructure in the New Britain Island of PNG, mainly in the Gazelle grid. This objective can be achieved by i) undertakingclimate risks assessment to evaluate climate-related natural hazard risks, identifying high-priority areas in which power infrastructures are highlysusceptible to those risks, identifying hazard and climate-pertinentvulnerabilities within power infrastructures, and recommending and prioritizingclimate-resiliency interventions.
