The overall objective of the project is to strengthen the pharmaceutical sector in order to stimulate the local production of quality and effective pharmaceutical products in the ECOWAS region to meet healthcare delivery services and the needs of the population. The project also aims to strengthen the institutional and regulatory frameworks of the pharmaceutical industry, in particular by curbing the production and sale of counterfeit medicines and building resilience.
