The Government of Mozambique (GoM) has received financing from the African Development Bank (the “Bank”) toward the cost of Songo - Matambo 400kV Overhead Transmission Line Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this Grant to eligible payments under the contract with an Owner-s Engineer for the Design, Preparation of Tender Documents, Assistance During the Pre-Contract Stage, Construction Supervision and Technical Assistance during the Defects Liability Period for the Extension/upgrade of 2 (two) EHV substations namely the Songo substation and the Matambo substation. The services included under this assignment are:Prepare Detailed Project Design for extension/upgrade of Substations;Prepare Bidding Document and provide support in the whole tendering process up to contract signing and defects liability period;Supervise the construction works of the contract which will result from these activities;Provide technical support in contract management of a contract which will result from these activities; andCapacity Building of EDM staff part of the PIU (On job/Learning By Doing Process).
