The services under this project are to ensure fulfilment of the Project Implementation Unit-s (PIU) financial management requirements of the African Development Bank (AfDB) and fulfilling other responsibilities as delegated to support the successful implementation of the project. The FM Specialist will, thus, ensure compliance with the relevant AfDB policies and procedures for implementation of project activities for the achievement of the project development objectives. The FM will thus be responsible for the establishing the correct departmental structure to execute on the required standards for the achievement of financial compliance. A fundamental aspect objective of this consultancy is the training the FM team on sound financial management (FM) in general, and AfDB specific FM requirements.
