Tenders are invited for ESA PHI Lab Poland
As part of the -labNET, one of the Components of the Innovate Element in the ScaleUp Programme. ESA plans to roll out several different new -labs in ESA Member States - following the successful implementation of the first ESA -lab at ESRIN. The objective is tocreate a dynamic network of -labs across Europe focusing on delivering innovation ready for commercialisation with the ability to disrupt and transform markets. The approach will be to innovate and apply an "under-one-roof" approach teaming up with academia, research centres, national space centres, industry as well as intermediary entities such as ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BICs), Technology Brokers, Accelerators, and private investors, including Venture Capital organisations. A common approach, similar to the one established by the Agency for its network of ESA BICs, will be applied across the -labNET. This includes scouting and selecting studies, providing researchers with knowledge and high-quality facilities, administering the ESA financial incentive scheme, as well as developing networking opportunities and providing the appropriate deliverables to ESA.Read more
