Tenders are invited for ESCAPE derisking Middleware.

The purpose of the contract to be let with the successful Tenderer is to achieve this goal of modernisation (as part of the initial de-risking activities) of the ESCAPE simulator (EUROCONTROL's distributed large scale ATC real time simulator) with the focus on the middleware capabilities. The result of these activities should validate the choice of new middleware technologies (data distribution and data serialisation), as well as their usage in the scope of ESCAPE. This should pave the way to a deeper and more intrusive redesign of the OASIS middleware, which could be performed independently and gradually on each ESCAPE component.
