Establishment of Income Generation Activities and Small Enterprises for Youth Entrepreneurs in Mosul and Kirkuk Cities
Development of Training Material for Procreate Business Idea and Business Improvement.
Scope of Work
The Consultant is required to develop training material on creative business ideas and business improvement, including development of agenda, session plans, and session methodology and delivering techniques, handouts with the training evaluation tools - pre and post tests.
a) Development of Training Material
This must covers the following topics
· SMEs management cycle
· Entrepreneurship and creative ideas
· Financial access and investment
· Marketing and promotion
· Product control and quality
· Business planning
· Operating the enterprise: Bookkeeping and cost recovery, human resource management, stock/inventory management
· Compliance of Government Regulations: Company/business formal registration process and basics labour laws and regulations
The Consultant would propose to cover these topics and grouped them in relevant Modules. The modules as indicated must cover the essential reading material including handouts.
Additionally, the module would come together with the delivery plan to cover the proposed topics in five (5) days. The module will be used to train the project SMEs team on delivering the training in field. The training modules must provide the agenda, session plan and objectives with methodology and delivering techniques such as plenary discussion, brainstorming sessions, group exercises/discussions, pre and post tests etc.
b) Development of Training Presentation
Once the training material is developed and agreed with Human Appeal, the consultant would require to develop the presentation deck based on the flow of training material covering each topic/session to be used for delivering the training.
The training material and the presentation are required both in English and Arabic languages.
Target Beneficiaries
The target people will be the entrepreneurs from the cities of Mosul and Kirkuk, who have creative project ideas or owners of existing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and who have a vision to expand their business. At the same time, the training material will be used to train these entrepreneurs. HA need a training material commensurate with the level of the target beneficiaries and be practical flexible and easy to train and use.
