As detailed in the National Defence Strategy 2024, one of the Government-s priorities is increasing Defence-s Guided Weapons and Explosives Ordnance (GWEO) stocks, strengthening supply chains and building a domestic manufacturing capability. A key requirement to achieve this priority is the construction and uplift of storage and distribution facilities to accommodate Defence-s growing GWEO inventory. At the time this Market Sounding is published, the Commonwealth anticipates that the scope of the Project will be : • Three (3) new Light Frangible Buildings (LFB) for the storage of Explosive Ordnance (LFB is a lightweight steel framing structure and steel roofing. Concrete hardstand and flooring) - first priority; • Refurbishment works of an existing hardstand to repair the existing surface and to install lighting/CCTV - second priority if sufficient funding available; • Minor internal fitout modifications to existing admin building to enable new CCTV monitoring systems; • Supporting infrastructure :
