Expression of Interest are invited for Europe Climate Risk Management and Paris Alignment Lab

The firm will review/enhance the training materials designed by IFC and execute a delivery of CRM&PA LAB program in close collaboration with IFC using a structured collaborative methodology to support FIs to understand climate risk concepts and to enable them to think through what it takes to implement climate risk management system as a part of their Paris Agreement alignment journey. The program has already developed the course curriculum and training materials on the following topics: Introduction to Paris Alignment for financial institutions; Introduction to climate risk management and regulatory landscape; self-assessment on climate risk integration vis-a-vis ECB expectations; physical and transition risks, materiality assessment; development of the Transition Action Plan. A high-level Transition Action Plan and roadmap per FI should be concrete deliverables from CRM&PA LAB participation.

The Consultant is encouraged to add to and/or enhance the above structure, content, and tools of the program. Additional elements required from the Consultant to be added to the Lab are modules and tools on climate risk stress testing with the development of a generic framework and Excel-based template on a dummy portfolio and country.

The CRM&PA LAB program should be implemented over a 10-week period through online training sessions, mentored breaks, and individual review of practical tasks with each participating financial institution. The program to be delivered via an online learning management system (LMS) that has been developed for the program and integrated to the web site of ECA Green Banking Academy.
