The objective of this activity is to characterise one existing 112 Gbps high speed serial links in the N7 TSMC technology and extrapolate its performance onto a digital beam-forming system. Specifically, the activity aims to established whether the linearity is sufficient and the power consumption for signal conversion and communication of 5 GHz bandwidth channel can reach the 100 mW level. This would present a 10 improvement of the current state of the art. Robustness to space radiative environment shall also be assessed.
