This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS; Market research purposes only, to be used for preliminary planning purposes. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS SYNOPSIS. The intent of the announcement is to identify capable sources that are qualified for a new contract for the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). Identified sources should be capable of performing the requirements described herein. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow up information requests.

Requirement: This notice is issued by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Western Acquisition Division and Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML) to identify sources capable of providing the following:

The requirement is to provide xBT Probes and Equipment. See attached specifications requirements for additional information.

Anticipated Period of Performance: The anticipated ordering period of performance is 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2030. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract allowing for firm fixed price orders contract is anticipated for award.

NAICS Code/Size Standard: The applicable NAICS Code is NAICS code 334519, Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing, and the size standard is 600 employees.
