Description of services required:
SUPPORT FOR COMMUNITIES
Inform and sensitize local authorities, targeted communities, and all key actors intervening in the target area, on the actions planned to meet the priority needs of vulnerable target groups.
Raise awareness, identify and target the beneficiaries of any intervention, based on clear, objective and transparent criteria.
Raise awareness, organize and structure communities and producers (see social engineering) around their agro-silvo-pastoral and fisheries activities, and for the sustainable management of community socio-economic infrastructure, etc.
Capitalize, provide technical and methodological training (see good practices) to target groups.
AGRICULTURAL AND ANIMAL PRODUCTION
Organize the reception of agricultural inputs (seeds, fertilizers, seedlings, small tools), manage the stock and ensure/facilitate the direct distribution or via the organization of fairs with coupons, in compliance with the principles related to gender, protection and accountability (feedback and complaints mechanism).

Support the development of operating accounts, business plans and training in entrepreneurial spirit.
NUTRITION
Implement a nutrition education program linked to nutrition-sensitive agriculture and the prevention of acute and chronic malnutrition.
VILLAGE SAVINGS AND CREDIT ASSOCIATION (WITH)
Raise awareness, organize, train and monitor targeted communities for the establishment/development of Village Savings and Loans Associations (VSLAs).
DIMITRA LISTENING CLUB
Raise awareness, organize, train and monitor communities for the establishment/development of community listeners' clubs (cf. Club Dimitra).
Mandatory minimum requirements
To be considered as a potential partner for the implementation of FAO Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), applicants must:
Be a non-governmental non-profit organization officially recognized in Mali with legal documents of recognition (Framework Agreement, Statutes, etc.);
Not be currently suspended or terminated by any of the Agencies of the United Nations System, the World Bank Group or the European Union.
Knowledge of the area of intervention (proven physical presence in the area of intervention), attested by an authorization to exercise;
Have specific confirmed experience (technical, material and organizational capacities) supported by certified references;
Have a solid experience of partnership with the agencies of the United Nations system, or with organizations and institutions of similar scope.
