This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by SaskTel to prospective Suppliers to provide submissions expressing interest in becoming a preferred vendor for the Fibre-to-the-Premise/Business/Community (FTTx) Program. This RFP is both for interested parties in the outside plant/construction and the cabling for Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) aspects of the FTTx Program. SaskTel would like to establish a list of pre-qualified Vendor(s) to supply "the deliverables" outlined as (but not limited to) for outside plant: - placing, rearranging and splicing of fibre optic telecommunication facilities, for aerial, underground and buried facilities - this work will be done (but not limited to) use of a directional boring unit, trencher, small sneaker plough, cable plough, hand trencher, skid steer, gravel truck, service trucks and backhoe, transportation vehicles, trailers, cable dollies, hydro-excavation equipment, etc. SaskTel would like to establish a pre-qualified list of vendors to supply "the deliverables" outlined as (but not limited to) for MDU's: - install and repair work in customer premises throughout the province of Saskatchewan. Please note that COR/SECOR certification is a requirement for this competition. All existing and new Suppliers must provide a copy of their COR/SECOR certification to submit a bid and be considered for this RFP.
