The field NMR equipment will be used mainly in the research projects of Research Centre Terra (https://research.tuni.fi/terra-en/ ) at Tampere University to measure the geotechnical properties such as water content, porosity and permeability of subsoils. In part, the device will also be used foreducation in advanced geotechnical courses and in connection with master's theses.The equipment will be located as part of Terra's current research infrastructure, where it complements the current equipment base integrated into the rigg, consisting among others of CPTU cones, samplers and field vanedevices.
