The County has initiated this NRFP to source a financial system replacement to replace its finance system that is reaching end of life. The financial system replacement will serve as a core business application for finance typical of such systems, enhancing functionality and providing support for business continuity meeting the County-s business and organizational needs.
With more than 20, 000 citizens, and covering an area of over 2000km2, the County employs a workforce of over 250 employees providing a full range of municipal services with an annual budget of $86M (operating for 2024) and $49M (capital for 2024). To support growth and increased service delivery the County has determined the need to replace its finance system with a scalable financial system built on updated technology. Over the past two years, the County has been conducting various market sounding activities through published Requests for Information (RFI-s) on the Alberta Purchasing Connection (APC), product demonstrations, commercially confidential meetings, and intermunicipal discussions, to ensure understanding of market offerings and ERP system capabilities.
The County is seeking a solution that will meet its core requirements with minimal modifications.
