Description
This is a pre-solicitation notice to determine possible sources and provide contractors a notice of intent to release a Request for Quote (RFQ). If your company is interested in the subject requirement, please refer to the instructions below.
The U.S. Government intends to solicit for the quotes for performance of services under a prospective firm-fixed price contract for Fire Protection System Maintenance and Repair services of geographically separated areas of Aviano and Ghedi Air Bases, Italy in accordance with the requirements of PWS and host nation laws. The subject service shall be acquired using FAR Part 12 procedures for the Acquisition of Commercial Items. FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall govern this competitive acquisition (FAR 13.500(a)-acquisition is The Contractor shall furnish all management, tools, equipment, and labor necessary to ensure that Fire protection system maintenance and repair services are performed in a professional manner.
The general requirements of the service are illustrated in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) which interested Companies are encouraged to read to familiarize with the various requirements of the service, ask questions or give suggestions. Exchanges with interested parties are highly encouraged in order to improve the understanding of the Government requirements and industry capabilities.
