Work Location : The boat will be delivered by FRD to the awarded certified Mercury Marine dealership, provided the location is within 150 miles distance of Fairfax County Fire Station 20 (10417 Gunston Road, Lorton, VA 22079). Website: Summary:The Fairfax County Fire & Rescue Department (FRD) is soliciting competitive proposals for the repower of a Metal Shark fireboat. This project involves the removal and disposal of failed Yamaha outboard motors and the installation of new Mercury 300HP engines, including all necessary rigging, integration, and testing, as detailed in the attached Statement of Work. Instructions to Bidders: Please review the attached Statement of Work thoroughly. Submit a formal proposal with your bid, including: An itemized cost breakdown (parts and labor) Warranty terms A detailed scope of work An optional trade-in value for the listed equipment, if applicable - photos of the existing equipment are included for your review.
