The WBG invites qualified Contractors to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the FIT-OUT WORK OF NEW IFC OFFICE IN LIMA, PERU.
The scope includes among others, fit-out finishes; mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and components; fire/life safety electrical and plumbing systems; communication (standard cabling & trays, IT & tele-communication); sustainable construction practices; including providing appropriate documentation as required for project EDGE Certification.
Firms must meet the following requirements to be eligible for a further evaluation:
1. Minimum sales revenue equivalent to USD 2, 000, 000 for the last three (3) years while performing as a General contractor performing similar to the work described.
2. Evidence of fiscal capability of USD 100, 000 or Bank Guarantee. The offeror must provide a letter from a surety company confirming that it will provide respondent firm with performance bonds on the Project in an amount equal to or greater than USD 100, 000.
3. Demonstrate it has financial capability to successfully support the entire contract.
4. Evidence that the Firm is registered and is authorized to engage in the Construction Business, Civil Works, Construction Services in Lima, Peru.
5. Certification that the company has not been involved in any litigation action in the past 5 years
6. Firms must have been in Construction business at least 5 years and must demonstrate that over the last 3 years the firm has successfully and continuously been engaged as a General Contractor in providing similar service to those required in this RFP, with minimum 3 projects of similar project in size, complexity and nature with minimum of 300 m2 or greater, If not in Peru, provide regional experience in Latin America.
7. Confirmation that no Child or Underage Labor will be used in any part of this Construction Project.
8. Evidence of ability to obtain insurance coverage as stated below:
a) Worker-s Compensation in accordance with local law or other social insurances. Applicable to Contractor-s operations.
b) Employer's Liability Insurance. US$100, 000.00 per incident, including coverage for occupational disease if not compensable under Workmen-s Compensation, or other social insurance.
c) Builder-s Risk/Contractor. All Risks Insurance. Minimum USD 1, 000, 000.00. All Risks Insurance Property insurance written on an ‘all risk- basis covering the property owner and the Contractor for the Works, together with materials and plant to be incorporated therein, and Contractor-s equipment and other things brought onto the site by Contractor, to the full replacement cost during the course of construction until acceptance by Owner.
d) Commercial General Liability Insurance. For all operations, including Contingent Liability, coverage for Subcontractors, Products and Completed Operations, and Contractual Liability (to cover assumption of liability under this Contract) with minimum limits of US$ 250, 000.00 per aggregate combined.
