Ipswich City Council is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to undertake the required reconstruction work as outlined in the detailed design plans for the sites - Carmichael Road & Flinders Mountain Road.During February 2022 there was major flooding in Ipswich causing extensive damage to the road and drainage network, including two (2) floodways at Carmichaels Road Purga, and Mount Flinders Road Peak Crossing. These sites have had temporary works performed to reopen the roads to the public, however, require reconstruction in accordance with fish passage regulations.
