Description

This is brand name. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), located in Indian Head, Maryland intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) purchase order using Simplified Acquisition Procedures for: AZERBAIJAN DT-P-LZA / Underwater Equipment Familiarization Training, for the Rotinor SeaBob Black Shadow 730, the Mistral DNS300, and the SubSea Tec Observer 3.2 ROV; for FMS BPC Section 333 Case DT-P-LZA for Azerbaijan. This effort will be a Competitive Procurement. Training will be required to provide EOD Technicians with the skills needed to maintain their underwater scooters, dive navigation systems, and remotely-operated vehicles (ROV) equipment in order to maintain their underwater vehicle inventory used in operations. The purpose of this course is to train personnel the tasks used for system setup, operation/use, maintenance, spares/accessories review, and storage of the above equipment. The Contractor shall provide all staffing and materials to conduct underwater vehicle equipment familiarization training, as follows: Underwater Equipment Training: - This course provides the skills required for intermediate-level maintainers/technicians assigned to support the Azeri Coast Guard forces, holding the applicable Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) designator or civilian equivalent, the ability to effectively maintain this equipment.
