Municipality of Oslo, Agency for Water and Wastewater Services (VAV) needs to enter into a framework agreement for the purchase of quicklime and hydrated lime for water treatment. The need for quicklime for Oset water treatment plant is estimated to ca. 1800-2000 tons per annum, and the need for hydraulic lime for Skullerud water treatment plant is estimated to approx. 300-350 tons per annum. The consumption is evenly distributed throughout the year, but it will vary slightly in relation to the water production. The stated volume is estimated based on current annual consumption. The lime products must be listed on the Norwegian Food Safety Authority ́s list of certified water treatment chemicals in accordance with the drinking water regulations §14 at the tender deadline.
