The Ministry of Defence's Material and Procurement Agency (hereafter "FMI") hereby offers four framework agreements, all with several suppliers, regarding the delivery of usual shipyard work, including, but not limited to, service, maintenance, inspection, repairs and minor modifications on the Defenseships. The framework agreements are not exclusive, and the suppliers are therefore not guaranteed any minimum turnover on the framework agreements. The requirements specifications will be published together with the other tender materials after the pre-qualification.

The framework agreements are divided according to docking weight and consist of the followingde:

Sub-agreement/framework agreement 1: A docking weight of over 4, 000 tonnes (currently 5 ships).

Sub-agreement/framework agreement 2: A docking weight between 1, 000-4, 000 tonnes (currently 9 ships).

Sub-agreement/framework agreement 3: A docking weight between 300-1, 000 tonnes (currently 10 ships).

Sub-agreement/framework agreement 4: A docking weight of less than 300tonnes (currently 26 ships)

The framework agreements must cover the Armed Forces' need for shipyard work on ships that carry out the tasks that the current ships carry out. The current ships are specified under each sub-agreement/framework agreement, just as it is specified whether the individual ship is respectively civilian or militaryright The ships covered by the framework agreements are expected to be replaced on an ongoing basis, including taking into account the life expectancy of the current ships.
