Framework agreement for the study, design, the manufacture and supply of one-piece sleepersin prestressed concrete with rail fixing system and continuous rubber element enclosing the rail, including fixing products (glue or alternative), for the STIB tram network.

The object of the contract consists of the conclusion of 'a framework agreement for the study, design, manufacturingbrication and supply of one-piece prestressed concrete sleepers with rail fixing system and continuous rubber element enclosing the rail, including fixing products (glue or alternative), for the STIB tram network.

The sleepers in concrete will be used on atrack with standard gauge of 1.435 m. The maximum axle load is 12.5 tonnes and the maximum vehicle speed is 80 km/h. The distance between each middle of the sleepers is 0.65 m.

The market includes 3 different types of sleepers:

— sleepers for type 62R2 rails (NP4AS),

— sleepers for type 50E2 (EB50T) rails,

— sleepers for type 50E2 (EB50T) rails with 33C1 (U69) counterrail.

Continuous rubber elements encompassing the rail: this system includes a maximum of 3 elements rubber extruded and vulcanized in a homogeneous elastomeric compound with propertiesspecific insulating materials. The lateral elements cannot hinder the vertical movement of the rail.

The rubber elements will be delivered in a length of 18 m. Special items will need to be provided...
