The client (AG), the Federal Institute for Geosciences and raw materials (BGR), Stilleweg 2, 30655 Hannover, awards a framework contract for digitization and preparation borehole geophysical archive data.
These are borehole measurement data of several deep holes that were collected in the 1960s to 1990s on behalf of the oil and natural gas industry in the German exclusive economic zone of the North Sea and in the adjacent coastal sea (12-mile zone). At the moment, these drilling data are predominantly in the form of scanned archive files; Digital data records of the borehole geophysical measurements are not or only incomplete. The aim of the BGR is to digitize these scanned measurement data in order to secure it in the long term and to make it usable for evaluating the use potential in the deeper surface of the German North Sea.
