The overall objective of the project is to contribute to improving food security and living conditions of target populations through the promotion of value chains in the fishing sector and aquaculture. Specifically, the project aims to: (i) increase and enhance the production of fish through sustainable development of aquaculture, craft fishing and industrial fishing, and (ii) strengthen drinking water infrastructure and sanitation. This will ultimately make it possible to ensure better supply of the local fish market (fresh and smoked), to reduce imports, to export to the countries of the sub-region, to increase income and to improve the 'Employability of young people as well as access to drinking water and sanitation.
