Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West intends to award a sole source contract with Abiomed, Inc. for Full Maintenance Services on the government owned biomed Impella Circulatory Assist Units. Abiomed, Inc. has proprietary rights for all maintenance service, parts and repairs with the existing government owned biomed Impella Circulatory Assist Units currently located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Fort Bliss, TX.

The sole source contract will have a period of performance is 1 July 2024 - 30 June 2025 plus two option years. The NAICS code 811210, size standard is $34M. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
