Expression of Interest are invited for Fund Expert to Support Rwanda Finance Limited in the Development of the Kigali International Financial Center (for International Bidders Only)

Contract Type: Contract for Service (Full time position)
Contract Duration: One (1) year (renewable subject to successful performance)

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute investor attraction strategies to position KIFC as an attractive destination for fund domicile.
Identify and cultivate relationships with institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, fund managers, and other relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with Business Development as well as Marketing and Communications teams to create compelling promotional materials, presentations, and campaigns to showcase the benefits of investing through KIFC.
Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential target investor segments.
Stay updated on global financial market trends, regulatory changes, and economic developments that could impact investor sentiment.
Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and to streamline the investor onboarding process.
Provide expert guidance to potential investors on fund structuring, tax implications, legal considerations, and other relevant matters.
Represent KIFC at industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and promote investor attraction initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall investor experience and address any concerns or challenges faced by investors.
Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of investor attraction strategies, making adjustments as needed to achieve targets.
To provide strategic advice to RFL- Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Senior Management on investment promotion and business development of the KIFC.
Establish and operationalize strategic partnerships with key international funds associations.
Establish a training and coaching program/framework for the Business Development team to upskill and advance the team-s knowledge and expertise in funds and fund management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master-s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Law or related field.
Proven experience not less than 10 years in a similar role within the financial industry, with a strong focus on investor attraction, fund structuring and fund management.
In-depth knowledge of global financial markets, investment products, and fund structures.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with investors, industry peers, and regulatory authorities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform investment attraction strategies.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools, market research techniques, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Fluency in English and French is a plus.
