Abstract: The Defence Clothing Team, which forms part of Leidos Supply Ltd. is considering the potential requirement for the supply of Flight Deck Helmets (Cranial Protection) on behalf of the UK MOD, consisting of a single lot.The requirement should act as / and have a number of key features;• Cranial Protection System (CPS)• Fire Retardant Properties• Compatible with ancillary items such as Night Vision Devices (NVD) and Personal Lighting Systems.• Range of Sizes.• Metal components should be minimized, where used, they must be secure so as to not become a loose article and must not radiate heat/cold to the user.• Use in temp range -20 up to +35 degrees.• The system should afford sufficient protection from impact injury (EN 397), fall from height (EN 12492).• The system may be required to be compatib...
