Advice is sought on the design considerations of a technology ecosystem enabling storage of data, allowing for data portability and ensuring future-proofing, specifically : Long term data storage and access : supporting long-term storage and easy access to data, ensuring data integrity and availability over time. Preservation of robust data lineage, audit trails, and data quality checks to ensure data preservation, traceability, security, and compliance. What scalable and performance data architecture might be required to handle increasing future-data volumes and complex processing requirements. How ASIC might ensure a solution which enables seamless integration and transition with other forensic tools such as Cellebrite, x-Ways, Encase, Forensic Explorer, and Magnet, enhancing forensic capabilities. Consideration of malware ringfencing and protected materials : how might systems allow for partitioning for malware ringfencing and ensuring proper treatment of protected materials, aiding in effective malware management while safeguarding sensitive information. Avoid vendor lock-in The proposed future-state design should be fit for the following purposes : To support ASIC-s Request-For-Tender process for “Early Case Assessment and Evidence Management Software and Support”. (ASIC Reference ID : PROC1812). To support ASIC-s Document Production Guidelines. To advise on compatibility issues affecting the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) to facilitate efficient and...
