This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be award from this announcement.The purpose of this announcement is to perform market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS 621511, Medical Laboratories, Product Service Code Q301, Medical- Laboratory Testing with a size standard of $41.5 Million.The VHA Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 is seeking to identify any vendor capable of providing the Afirma® Genomic Sequencing Classifier. This test is a genetic classifier that measures the expression of 167 genes to determine if the thyroid has a malignancy for Veterans that are poor candidates for surgery due to multiple comorbidities in support of the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery, VA Medical Center (VAMC), Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS), Jackson, MS, and the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks, P&LMS, located at 1100 N. College Ave, Fayetteville, AR and potentially other VISN 16 medical facilities. Veteran healthcare and patient safety are paramount and non-negotiable within the mission of the Department of Veteran Affairs. Responses to this sources sought must include the following information:1.
