Greek National Satellite Space Project: Axis 3 Agriculture Monitoring Service
Following the Establishment of the Eu Recovery and Resilience Facility (Regulation (Eu) 2021/241), the Rrf Financing Agreement was Signed between the European Commission and the Hellenic Republic in July 2021. Subsequently, the Greek Recovery and Resilience Plan was Approved, including The "Completion of the Small Satellites Project" under Component 2.1: Connect. The Project Arrangement for Esa Assistance in Management and Implementation of the Greek National Satellite Project was Signed in 2019 between the Esa Dg and Thegreek Government (Esa/Leg/495), Subsequently Adjusted in 2021 (Esa/C(2021)169. In this Framework the Greek Ministry of Digital Governance, in a Letter Addressed to the Dg and Dg-I in September 2023, Presented an Alternative National Space Plan Based on 3 Axes. Thepresent Statement of Work Describes the Activities to be Executed and the Associated Deliverables Required by the European Space Agency ("Esa" or The "Agency") from the Contractor as Part of Axis 3 of the Greek National Satellite Space Project. Although the Provided Services will be Based on Satellite Data Processing and Exploitation, They will Also Identify and Integrate Other Data Sources Necessary for the Compliance with the Information Need of the User. The Present Axis 3 Activity Covers the Delivery of the Agricultural Monitoring Service and Include:1.Crop Type mapping2.Soil Moisture analysis3.Crop Growth Monitoringthe Project will be Entirely Funded by the Greek Component of the Rrf. The Itt will be Opened Exclusively to the Greek Industry with 100% Gr involvement
