Statement of PurposeThe Scranton School District (“the District”) is soliciting proposals from Healthcare Consultants to review the District-s current health insurance plans and provide assistance with the design of future health care programs. Recommendations for plan design options must include consideration for long-term costs and budgetary impacts to the District and compliance with healthcare reform and current collective bargaining requirements.No proposal may be withdrawn before 90 days after the date of the opening of the proposals. Tentative plans call for the Scranton School District Board of Education to review the proposals and to take action to award a contract at its regular public meeting on November 4th, 2024The Scranton School District Board Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive, at its discretion, any irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities relative thereto, and to further negotiate with any firms submitting proposals.Information regarding the Request for Proposal for Healthcare Consultant and specifications may be obtained by emailing the Scranton School District at the following: Cathy Delpretecathy.delprete@ssdedu.org
