The women's clinic needs different types of ultrasound systems, among other things, for specialist maternity care and for examinations at the women's clinic's receptions. The women's clinic performs examinations of internal genitalia, volume measurement, fetal examination and various flow measurements and is also interested in ultrasoundultrasound examinations of ovaries before IVF treatment.
Ultrasound systems must be used at the gynaecology clinic for:
- To look at spiral positions
- Early pregnant
- General control of the uterus and ovaries.
- Targeted/advanced examinations for specific changes such as, for example, malignancyednings.
- Color doppler must be available
Ultrasound systems must be used in specialist maternity care for:
- Basic and advanced fetal diagnostics as well as invasive sampling.
- Assessment of early pregnancy including dating and examination of all organ systems in the entire small pelvis.
- Cervix measurements.
- Firsttrimester screening.
- Routine ultrasound in the second trimester.
