Shepherding the flock of sheep and goats using flexi netting mainly takes place in the Houtsaegerduinen in De Panne. In addition, the ANB also wishes to implement grazing in the Oostvoorduinen in Oostduinkerke in Koksijde. Houtsaegher dunes: This area has a history of desiccation and shrubberyng. Both phenomena have reduced and qualitatively affected the existing dry dune grasslands. Grazing should prevent further entanglement and increase the quality of the dune grasslands. In addition to the sheep and goat herd, the domain is already grazed with donkeys. During the first yearIn addition to these grazers, three Zebus cattle will soon be used on the Houtsaegerduinen, which will be purchased by the contracting authority (see also III.1). Oostvoorduinen: A medieval Kopsduinen landscape where grazing has been reintroduced this year.
