Description : The procurement concerns the development of a new phase contrast x-ray tomography set-up (PxCT) in the x-ray physics laboratory at the Institute of Physics, NTNU. The PxCT set-up will ensure the further development of the x-ray physics group (xPG), NTNU. The new PxCT set-up requires an x-ray source with a very small focal spot, high stability in focus, and minimum focus to the object distance. Nano-focus x-ray source with a Pilatus 1M detector is expected to be the 'work horse' in user designed experiments for high resolution 3D image processing.
