The objective is to cover the Norwegian Coastal Administration ́s need for high speed boom systems. This applies to systems on vessels and at depots. This includes the delivery of the following: High speed boom systems Components for high speed booms systems Infrastructure to (container, drum and other materials connected to high speed link systems) Competence services connected to high speed boom systems Operation and maintenance of high speed boom systems The coastline is concerned with sustainability and function, and assumes that new high speed booms for vessels will last the rest of the ships ́ lifetime. This means that the Norwegian Coastal Administration wants systems that can last for at least 15 years, and tolerate regular training with the equipment, besides that the equipment should tolerate at least one action with oil on the sea, and cleaning afterwards. With this background, the Norwegian Coastal Administration wants to enter into a contract with an experienced supplier of proven equipment to ensure the quality we need. The quality of the systems will be assessed through the tenderers ́ descriptions of the requirement specifications and demonstration of the equipment at KV Nornen 5-9 August 2024.
