Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or obligation or commitment by the Government. Market research is conducted to determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses for the following service: Contractor is to provide emergency response and repair of High Voltage Systems located at various Army installations on the Islands of Oahu and Hawaii, Hawaii. The Army installations on the Island of Oahu consists of approximately 241 buildings. The population base consists of approximately 50, 000 military, Government civilian, and Contactor personnel, as well as 100, 000 resident family members. For the Island of Hawaii services includes Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) and Kilauea Military Camp (KMC). PTA is located on the Island of Hawaii, Hawaii County, outside of Hilo in the high plateau between Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and the Hualalai volcanic mountains. PTA consists of approximately 134, 000 acres. PTA-s 210 square miles extend from the grassy rolling hills of the Keamuku Maneuver Area (KMA) up the lava filled gentle slopes of Mauna Loa at heights of more than 9, 000 feet above sea level. The rugged terrain and austere environment are an ideal place for military training and has served as a training installation for close to eight decades. KMC is located inside Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
