The City of Burlington is seeking a qualified and experienced company to provide traffic control and hostile vehicle management services for the Sound of Music Festival being held June 13 - 16, 2024 at the City's Spencer Smith Park, as per the details contained within the Bid Document.
It is a mandatory requirement of this Tender that the Hostile Vehicle Mitigation system to be used must have the capability to be moved by one person without the use of heavy machinery. A Traffic Control Plan must be created and provided to the City by May 31, 2024. A total of ten (10) crews consisting of two (2) staff and a vehicle are required for each road closure/opening as described within the Bid Document.
