Description : MAR/40 'Ulverscroft Road' Overbridge Structural Infilling of East span. A vertical infill of the eastern span of the structure has been proposed to strengthen the overbridge. The deckplates within the eastern span are severely corroded and have isolated areas of total section loss. Given thatthe deck plates were the critical structural member in the 2002 BE4 assessment, structural infilling isconsidered the most effective long-term solution to strengthen the bridge to allow full, normal traffic loadingto current standards (CS454).
