The Analytics and Research Unit operates at HSL, whose central task isthe task is to produce qualitative and quantitative market and customer understanding and research on the mobility market. The unit owns and is responsible for the datasets, their analytics, and traffic studies for the entire region. One part of the Analytics and studies unit is the Field Studies group. Field investigations are carried out in accordance with research and calculation requests. Some of the investigations are carried out based on a preliminary plan and some are ad hoc requests. To a large extent, the requests are internal to HSLrequests. According to research requests, data, information and understanding are produced to support decision-making and planning. Survey requests may include cross-sectional calculations, profile calculations, interviews, survey card surveys, check calculations and other calculation requests.
