Tender Details

The production kitchen of the Meilahti hospital of the HUS group will operate for about five (5) years in emergency rooms. It is not possible to divide these premises into departments, so-called intermediate products. Brokerage products here mean a pre-agreed food selection of around 200 products, which includes e.g.:

- milk, juicedrinks and soft drinks,

- yogurts and other snacks,

- breads, fats, bread toppings (e.g. cold meats and cheeses) and eggs

- fruits and vegetables,

- children's food,

- cookies and other dry products and

- ice creams.

The object of the planned procurement are other intermediate products, etcindividually packed in boxes (reusable rather than disposable) and delivered to the delivery point at Meilahti Hospital. There are approximately 130 departments in the hospital that place product orders. Department-specific orders can be placed in the supplier's system.

Editor Wedput the products ordered by each department into boxes and deliver them at the agreed time once a day, six (6) days a week (from Monday to Saturday) to one delivery point, from where HUS's internal logistics takes them to the departments. Reliability of delivery is essential for the customer.

Planltu competition applies to the so-called broken packages, i.e. disassembled sales lots, e.g. due to limited storage and storage possibilities, department-specific use, and products' expiration dates. The product-specific requirements take into account not only the suitability of the hospital and its different patient groups...
