REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONSPROJECT BACKGROUNDThe City of Surrey (the “City”) through internal workforces and hiredequipment contractors, completes various hydro excavation projects. The purpose of this RFQ is to locate a deposition site for the excavated material.PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe City seeksa qualified Contractor for the purpose of deposition services of hydro excavated material. Estimated Quantities may range from 1, 500 to 2, 000 loads per year.PROJECT DELIVERABLESThe works to be completed may include, but are not limited to, receiving materialfrom both City staff and contractors performing work on behalf of the City.In addition, the City requires the Contractor to obtain soil permits for fill material to be placed on properties within respective municipalities where applicable. This requirement ensures that placement of materials on sites does not affect neighbouring properties or local stormwatersystem operations, and is in conformance with the Agricultural Land Reserverequirements.The Contractor is required to have a site suitable for receiving hydro excavator equipment of varying sizes.
