Tender Details

The IT service center of the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg operates a data network, which is to be expanded as part of the planned tender. The client intends to restructure the network and security architecture according to a hierarchical approach, among other thingsnd identity-based user roles.

The Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) is to be used in the MLU network in different scenarios and functions. Administration, monitoring and execution should be implemented on separate devices. The ISE node is supposed toen are built in a distributed - medium-sized network deployment.

Admin (PAN) and monitoring (MnT) personas should be operated on an HA cluster (two hardware appliances) in the data center. The primary and secondary nodes of the two personas should act mutuallyilt.

The Security Nodes (PSN) are implemented in the respective network segments where the services are used. These should run on the existing VM instances.
