In Fiji, geographical, demographic and climatic factors, allied with lifestyle constitute a favourable environment for food and water outbreaks and its presence is confirmed by surveillance data.According to UNESCO, water quality is determined by the physical, chemical, and microbiological propertiesof water. These water quality characteristics throughout the world are characterized by wide variability.
