Purpose: Context of the consultation The "Sentinel alpine" research-development program aims to analyze, understand and anticipate the effects of climate change in the alpine alpine. Born in the writings following the episodes of drought in the 2000s, he gradually extended to other Alpine territories (Ecrins, Vanoise, Mercantour, Ubaye, Chartreuse, Vercors, Lubéron, Ventoux). Today, 30 mountain pastures are the support of regular monitoring of physical parameters (rainfall, snow removal speed ...), natural (budding resource, plant biodiversity ...) and humans (pastoral practices, grass sampling levels) . The scientific coordination of the program is provided by INRAE of Grenoble (National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment).
