Tender Details

The purpose of the Request for Statement of Qualifications (RSQ) is to select the most highly qualified firms to provide the requested services. Submittals will be reviewed and evaluated as to qualifications to perform the services required by an Evaluation Committee of County staff, who will make a recommendation for award by the County Council.The County anticipates award to multiple firms. It is anticipated that selected firms will be awarded a Contract for an initial three (3) year term with two (2) subsequent one (1) year renewal options. All renewals will be contingent upon mutual and written agreement and, when applicable, approval of County Council.Contractors will have the option of being part of a monthly rotation of funeral homes who provide indigent cremation. If a Contractor does not want to participate in the monthly rotation, the option will be available to be reimbursed for service when a deceased individual is received or transported who is subsequently deemed indigent. Reimbursement will be made according to the pricing detailed in Scope of Work section 5.6 Pricing.
