The Senior Project Accountant will be part of a project implementation team (PIT) and support the DNA, PIT and the other ministries and departments or entities responsible for the Project activities in financial management and disbursement through provision of advice and documents preparation, and in the implementation of the project Financial Management System that was agreed with the African Development Bank and other financers to be involved in the Project. The main tasks of the project Senior Accountant will include but not limited to; (a) Update the financial management aspect of the Project Implementation Manual or its updating in line with the project appraisal report and loan agreement; (b) Ensure that the financial procedures manual is applied in all financial transactions and to see to its update on a regular basis.
